In 1993, Redman was among the first rappers to jump on the blunt bandwagon. "How to Roll a Blunt" off his debut cd, Whut? Thee Album, gave Redman instant cred in the weed-smoking community. He appeared on the cover of High Times in 1993 and is still smokin' 17 years later.

Born Reggie Noble in Newark, New Jersey on Apr. 17, 1970, Redman  starred in How High with fellow Top CelebStoner Method Man in 2001 and the shortlived Fox TV series, Method and Red, in 2004.

He co-hosted the Stony Awards in 2006.

Redman's sixth solo album, Red Gone Wild, came out in 2007. Blackout 2 with Method Man was released in 2009.
