Super High Me mixes laughs with seriousness not expected from stoner funnyman Doug Benson.
Cutting back and forth between interviews, live standup and DEA raids of L.A.-area medipot shops, Super High Me has its sticky fingers on the pulse of marijuana smokers. Benson undergoes a battery of tests that will determine how pot affects him psysiologically and psychologically. The funniest one is the memory test ("boat, cucumber, wire"). You know about stoners orgetting things, right? Well, Benson actually does better when he's high. More pot is inhaled - via joints, pipes, bongs and vaporizers - in Super High Me than in a Cheech & Chong movie. Benson buys from his local dispensary, CCSC, which is hit when the DEA raids 11 shops in one day. The protests provide depth, elevating Super High Me. The doc features a who's who of stoner comics - Sarah Silverman, who's upset when Benson blows smoke on her ("I'm not your cat!"), is the highlight. Jeff Ross, Patton Oswalt, Brian Posehn, Greg Proops, Bob Odenkirk and Zach Galifianakis all make cameo appearances. And such marijuana icons as Dennis Peron, Ed Rosenthal and Marc Emery (Benson calls spending time with him like going through "the marijuana gauntlet") are given screen time. Directed by Michael Bleiden (The Comedians of Comedy), Super High Me balances funny with dire concerns of medical-marijuana activists. You'll laugh, you might even cry, but you'll certainly want to smoke along as Doug Benson takes another hit. Also see:

if anything this should show how stupid it is to waste federal money busting Pot smokers!
Everyone that smokes needs to write every state and federal congressman and even MR Obama and tell them to stop the maddness and decrimilize marijuana.
We need to make this happen now, this opertunity may pass us by and it could be years till we see another time like now! We can do this but its going to take every single Marijuana smoker out there!
Come on take an hour and write some letters. This is the 3rd biggest issue americans want Obama to solve after the War and money issues. Write some more and push this into real legislation!
