• Jonathan Babineaux DT, Atlanta Falcons - arrested for marijuana possession (41 grams) with intent to distribute after traffic stop on 12/10/09 in Georgia - pled no contest to three charges and sentenced to one year's probation and fined $1,500 on 7/20/10

• Kenny Britt WR, Tennessee Titans - caught smoking a blunt while waiting in a car-wash line in Hoboken, NJ on 6/8/11 - charged with obstruction, tampering and resisting arrest with force

• Nate Collins DT, Jacksonville Jaguars - arrested for marijuana possession and illegal window tint in after traffic stop on 2/23/12 in Virginia

• Johnny Culbreath OT, Detroit Lions - arrested for marijuana possession at Country Inn & Suites in Orangeburg, SC on 1/23/12

• Shaun Ellis DE, New England Patriots - arrested for marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession after traffic stop on 11/29/08 in Hanover, New Jersey while with the Jets - suspended by the NFL for one game at start of 2009 season and fined $100,000

• Nick Fairley DT, Detroit Lions - arrested for marijuana possession after traffic stop on 4/3/12 in Mobile AL

• Kevin Faulk RB, New England Patriots - issued summons for marijuana possession after search at Lil Wayne concert in Lafayette, Louisiana on 2/22/08 - pled guillty, sentenced to community service, fined $300 - suspended one game by the NFL

• Leroy Hill LB, Seattle Seahawks - 1) arrested for possessing two bags of marijuana near Atlanta after passing out in his car at 4 am on 1/24/09 - released on $1,500 bond - pled guilty, fined $500, one-year probation on 4/2/10 - suspended one game by NFL on 7/16/10; 2) arrested for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana after search of his Atlanta condo produced several partially-smoked blunts on 2/25/12

• Santonio Holmes WR, New York Jets - arrested for marijuana possession (three blunts) in Pittsburgh after car stop and search on 10/23/08 - deactivated for one game by the Steelers - charge dismissed

• Javarris James RB, Indianapolis Colts - arrested for marijuana possession after car stop and search in Fort Myers, Florida on 6/9/11

• Ed Johnson DT, Carolina Panthers - arrested for marijuana possession in Indianapolis after car stop and search on 9/10/08 - waived by the Colts one day later

• Johnny Jolly DE, Green Pay Packers - arrested for codeine possession on 5/4/11and 10/1/11 in Houston - suspended by NFL for entire 2010 season - sentenced to six years in jail on 11/17/11

• Mikel Leshoure RB, Detroit Lions - arrested for marijuana possession after a traffic stop in Berrien County, MI on 2/18/12 - pled guilty and paid $485 fine on 3/1/12 - arrested again and charged with marijuana possession after a traffic stop in Bridgeman, MI during which he was caught trying to eat the stash on 3/12/12 - pled guilty and paid $575 fine on 5/11/12

• Marshawn Lynch RB, Seattle Seahawks - arrested for possessing concealed weapon in Culver City, California after car stop and search on 2/11/09 - four blunts were also found in the car - pled guilty to three misdemeanors, sentenced to three years' probation and 80 hours community service on 3/5/09 - suspended three games on 4/9/09 while with the Bills

• Arcilla (Alex) Magee DT, Tampa Bay Buccaneers - cited for marijuana possession in Tampa after car stop and search on 5/9/11

• Derrick Martin DB, New York Giants - issued ticket for possessing three bags of marijuana at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport on 6/29/08 - suspended one game by the NFL

• Chris Simms QB, Tennessee Titans - charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of drugs during checkpoint stop in New York on 6/30/10 - police smelled marijuana - acquitted on 5/4/11

• J.T. Thomas LB Chicago Bears - charged with marijuana possession (less than 15 grams) after traffic stop in Morgantown, West Virginia on 2/13/12

Free Agents

• Willie Andrews DB - arrested for marijuana possession with intent to distribute after car search in Lowell, Massachusetts on 2/4/08 - waived by Patriots after he threatened his girlfriend with a gun in July - gun charge dismissed on 3/5/09

• Jameel Cook RB - arrested for marijuana possession in Houston after car stop and search on 8/22/08 - waived by Texans five days later - charge dismissed on 9/30/08

• Roderick Green LB - arrested for marijuana and gun possession after a car stop in Brenham, Texas on 2/2/09 - released by the 49ers

• Sam Hurd WR - arrested for possession of more than a half-kilo of cocaine in federal sting in Rosemont, IL on 12/15/11 - released by the Bears on 12/16

• Matt Jones WR - arrested for cocaine possession in his car on 7/10/08 in Fayetteville, Arkansas - suspended three games by the NFL - pled not guilty and entered a court-ordered drug treatment program - after testing positive for alcohol on 3/9/09, arrested again and sentenced to 10 days in an Arkansas jail; released by the Jaguars on 3/16/09

• Laurence Maroney RB - arrested with four others for possessing marijuana and firearms in St. Louis after car stop on 1/17/11 while with Broncos - marijuana possession charge dismissed 8/31

• JaMarcus Russell QB - charged with felony possession of codeine cough syrup in Mobile, Alabama on 7/4 (Russell was cut by Oakland in May) - on 10/29, a grand jury refused to indict Russell

• Jerome Simpson WR - charged with marijuana trafficking on 1/19/12 after the Feds intercepted a 2.5 package of pot sent from Sacramento to his house in Kentucky on 9/20/11 - pled guilty on 3/1/12, sentenced to 15 days in jail, $7,500 fine and community service - suspended for three games by NFL on 4/23/12

• Jerramy Stevens TE - arrested for marijuana (38 grams) and paraphernalia in his car on 10/22/10 in Tampa, FL - two days later, released by the Bucs

• Reggie Williams WR - 1) arrested for DWI and marijuana possession (.97 grams) in Houston after car stop and search on 2/27/09 - charges dismissed; 2) arrested for possessing a controlled substance (cocaine) after altercation in Houston bar on 4/5/09 - released by the Jaguars

• Lawrence Wilson LB - arrested for marijuana possession (11 grams) in Salisbury, NC after car stop (speeding) and search on 11/2/11 - released by Panthers six days later
