Dropped my last Altoid to freshen my mind for Mardi Gras.

Did the length of Panorama Jazz Band/St. Anthony Ramblers route in New Orleans - Bywater through Marigny to Jackson Square, then a down river ramble back into Marigny.

The hike/shoot was at times like walking backward into a mosh pit for miles and that just about killed me, but here I am still.

What seems to have happened is that as the developers have pushed the artists and musicians out of the Quarter and, down river, and they have assimilated into the marching groups thre.

I need to learn more about that. I marched with St. Mary's a few years before Katrina, so it's going on a while.

It was good times and the best Mardi Gras in memory for me.

Great band, I really enjoyed that Mez.
I can see you were having a heck of a time trying to film that. What a fantastic atmosphere!
