The third major TV pot doc and second named Marijuana Inc. in the last four months - hosted by Al Roker on MSNBC - covered much of the same territory as its predecessors. But it was good to see Doug Benson, Rob Kampia and a major focus on the case of California dispensary owner Charles Lynch.

What appeared to be another pro-DEA show with the usual footage of SWAT teams bashing into grow-ops and helicopters swooping down on outdoor guerrilla plantations eventually zeros in on the ongoing tug-of-war between patients, state and federal authorities in California.

As was the case with John Stossel's 20/20 report just days earlier, Roker interviewed Lynch, who has been convicted by the Feds of running Central Coast Compassionate Caregivers in Morro Bay. While he awaits his sentence, activists get more incensed. Roker gives them a voice in his special.

"If you think [marijuana] helps you in your life and makes you feel better," says Top CelebStoner Benson, "I don't see why you shouldn't have access to it."
