Redmond O'Neal Sent Back to Jail PDF Print E-mail

Ryan O'Neal's troubled son's Redmond is in trouble again. He was booted out of rehab after showing up high on Dec. 29 and returned to Pritchess Detention Center in Castaic, California for 30 days. O'Neal had been at Impact in Pasadena since September.

On probation for a 2007 DUI conviction, police charged O'Neal with possession heroin and Xanax while attempting to visit an inmate at the Pitchess last Apr. 5.

Redmond O'Neal mug shotRedmond and Ryan were both busted on Sept. 17, 2008 at the family's Malibu home for possessing methamphetamines. Ryan pled guilty on Jan. 9, 2009. He's required to attend drug for 18 months.

On Apr. 1, Redmond was booted out of the Clearview Treatment Center after failing a drug test.

The 24-year-old O'Neal was originally arrested in 2008 for possessing meth and heroin, and driving under the influence. He avoided jail time by agreeing to three years' probation, a $1,688 fine and the DUI charge.
