University of Florida star receiver Percy Harvin may have tested positive for pot back in February, but that didn't stop Minnesota from picking him in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft. Percy Harvin

In Jan. '09, Harvin led the Gators to the college football championship with 170 yards and a touchdown in the title game.

''He's the most explosive playmaker in this year's draft,'' says ESPN's Todd McShay. "The biggest boom-or-bust prospect in the '09 draft, but I think the risk was worth the reward for the Vikings," who took Harvin with the 22nd overall pick.

UPDATE: Harvin Named Offensive Rookie of the Year
In his first season as a Viking, Harvin had 60 receptions for 790 yards and 6 TDs. He also returned two kickoffs for touchdowns. Harvin suffers from migraines.

Another drug-test failure, University of North Carolina WR Brandon Tate, was selected by the New England Patriots in the third round.
