Bedford, New Jersey comedian Louis "Twitchels" Cenntani has Tourette's Syndrome. Joking about his condition has landed Louis on The Opie & Anthony Show, The Howard Stern Show, and The Simple Life and True Life on MTV. He does stand-up around the state and country.

I conducted the following interview with Louis for CelebStoner:

When did you first smoke pot?

I was 13. I was hanging with the "wrong" crowd and was introduced to pot. Turns out it was the right crowd after all.

How does it help with Tourette's?

When I smoke pot, it significantly decreases my tics and vocal outbursts. There are good days and bad days. If I'm jerking my neck back and forth repeatedly, my neck gets sore fast. I toke and I'm able to function again.

What kinds of attitudes have you seen in show business about marijuana?

Many actors, musicians, comics, filmmakers and writers have said that pot helps release the extra creativity that's lurking in our minds.

How do you incorporate marijuana into your comedy?

I speak from my heart and the truth is the funniest. Marijuana is just not a big deal to people, especially if there's a medical plus to it as well.

What would you say to Governor Corzine or other elected officials about why you think medical marijuana should be legal?

It's so simple. If it helps people who are in need of relief and isn't hurting anyone, why the hell not? With the right guidelines and approach, legalizing medical marijuana in New Jersey should not be an issue and needs to be implemented as soon as possible.

There has been some opposition to medical marijuana. What do you say to them?

Try jerking your neck constantly all day everyday and then see if you turn down a joint when all you feel is constant soreness and pain.
