Michael Douglas' oldest son, Cameron, was nabbed by the DEA in New York on July 28, 2008 and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. It was Douglas' second drug arrest since 2007. Cameron Douglas (mug shot at right) The plot thickeened on Aug. 10 when Douglas' girlfriend Kelly Sott was arrested after delivering an electric toothbrush stuffed with bags of heroin to his mother Diandra's New York townhouse and Douglas was taken to the Metropolitan Correctional Center. UPDATE: On Jan. 27, Douglas pled guilty to selling meth and cocaine. If found guilty, he would face a minimum 10-year sentence. "The family is devastated and very disappointed in Cameron's recent behavior," Michael and Diandra stated. Michael Douglas recently weighed in on the drug legalization debate: "It's something that needs to be discussed a little more. It's an economic issue and a violence issue." And now, once again, a Douglas family issue. Add your comment
