"I'm running on the gay marriage, no religion, legalization and taxation of marijuana platform," Brad Pitt says slyly about his rumored campaign for mayor of New Orleans. "I don't have a chance. That's not what I do best."

Earlier in the week, Pitt was quoted in Parade about pot:

"I liked to smoke a bit of grass at the time, and I became very sheltered. Then I got bored. I was turning into a damn doughnut, really. So I moved as far away from that as I could. I was done."

The actor has devoted a great deal of his time and money to help rebuild New Orleans after Katrina.
