Three-time pot offender Lil Boosie received a 10-year suspended sentence stemming from his weed and gun bust nearly a year ago (Oct. 22)  in Baton Rouge. The rapper was caught with marijuana, a blunt and a gun. He's expected to serve two years.

Originally, Lil Boosie (a.k.a. Torrence Hatch) had agreed to serve one year, but he failed to follow the judge's insructions while wearing an electronic monitoring device.

Before going to jail on Nov. 24, Boosie stated: "If I made a mistake with marijuana, why am I not eligible for rehab? I've been on marijuana since a teenager. I need some rehab. Jail is not rehab."

His latest album - Superbad: The Return of Boosie Bad Azz - came out in September. Boosie's 2006 album Bad Azz includes "Smoking on Purple."
