Back in 2006, Conan O'Brien could do no wrong. Even High Times gave him a bong for hosting the Best Late-Night TV Show.
Stony Awards creator Steve Bloom recalls: "We just thought Conan was the stoniest show on late night, so I called former Stonys host Brian McCann, who played Preparation H Raymond and a bunch of other characters, and told him we wanted to give them a Stony. He invited me over to the set at 30 Rock. Just before that day's show, Brian, announcer Joel, Hempbot, Cokie the Bong and the Masturbating Bear filmed an acceptance speech with Brian as Raymond of course holding the 'fully functioning trophy.'
"I met Conan hanging out in the hallway that day. He was cool, but I was a little disappointed that he didn't appear in the acceptance clip. A week later, Brian told me to watch that night's show. Conan officially thanked High Times for the Stony award, placing the bong on his desk. Cool, dude! I wish him best of luck. He deserves it."
