Jack Herer's Wife Wins Guardian Suit PDF Print E-mail
Saturday, 06 February 2010 03:31

After many troubling months following Jack Herer's devastating heart attack last September, his wife Jeannie Herer (below left in photo) is now his official guardian. The decision was made on Feb. 3. in Lane County Court in Oregon.

Jack & Jeannie HererIn addition, Herer's son Mark Herer was appointed conservator.

Power of attorney given to Joy Graves and Chuck Jacobs on Sept. 12, the day Herer suffered the heart attack at Hempstalk in Portland, was revoked. Graves didn't show up in court.

A month ago, Graves withdrew $800 from Herer's Wells Fargo bank account.

With the ending of this particularly painful ordeal, the focus returns to Herer's health.

"He can sit up and tries to speak," says lawyer Bill McPike. "We can only pray for Jack's full recovery."

Herer is author of the marijuana manifesto, The Emperor Wears No Clothes.

If Jack is up, he will be speaking soon and those that doubted his wishes, will be set str8, like putting him in kidney failure (Roland A Duby speaking of Karma. You admitted sending the oil to Jeannie so lets see your Karma, by the way she got caught by staff ina federally funded nursing facility administering illegal substances. All documented by you and copied. No Oregon has done nothing to prevent this travesty, YET!) Jack wanted those documents drawn up and signed, Joy didn't want to b put in that position and she has a stroke trying to protect him and now Chuck Jacobs puts another DNR on him, after all Joy did to get Jeannies DNR Do Not Rescitate and DNT Do not transport, he might not have made that one liver failure and pheumonia out alive. Since he wasn't able to be transported. All of YOU friends that don't speak out about what Jack told you and you say let him stew in his own mess. Be human. This whole thing is a travesty of justice. My opinion is they have to Shut him up, Jack told me and many others that Jeannie was tryng to put him in a mental hospital or worse. Also that he was afraid of her. So where's Jack's voice? Might wanna ck out facts before making opinions or allegations... See Salem-News Bonnie King's articles and FACTS. Jeannie Herer is a BAD person and all of you should know what you are dealing with. She lies more about this than I can stand. Jack may the LORD be with you! Thank God you have Guardian Angels, like Joy who suffers and feels like she failed to carry out Jack's wishes. None of us cared who he slept with or who he was married to and didn't. We just wanted to do right by him. We know in our heart and soul we did just that! We were just unarmed and didn't realize the depths of evil she was capable of. Now we do.
Now he has to suffer with HER. GOD HELP YOU!

Joy Graves didn't show up in court because she had a stroke the week before at the hearing that was, later, postponed. She was taken to the emergency room after we left the hearing. Joy did get a lawyer, after that hearing, who asked the court for time to prepare Joy's contestment and Joy's doctor also asked for Joy to be excused from court because she was still getting medical treatment. The Judge denied both requests and proceeded with the hearing. I believe that Jack's best interests are not being considered by the family, especially by his "estranged" wife, Jeannie, and I pray that Jack will persevere through everything with the strength that he has shown while Joy and I were with him. I still believe that Jack can communicate better than his family is saying and that Jack needs and deserves the chance to get expert therapy and rehabilitation, whether it is at UCSF where they specialize in brain injured people like Jack, or any other awesome place that can help him communicate better and faster! It IS what he deserves, as it must be hell for Jack, trying to communicate from his point of view. I would want the best possible care, not only for myself but for my loved ones! Wouldn't you?
