Lewis Black Backs Pot Legalization PDF Print E-mail
Sunday, 07 February 2010 16:43

Lewis BlackGrouchy satirist and Daily Show pundit Lewis Black says, "I believe this is what my generation came to the planet to do and that is legalize pot,' says grouchy comic and Daily Show pundit Lewis Black. "If we do that we leave behind a true legacy. It's a tremendous legacy. it really is. I think medically it's important. In five states it's the largest cash crop. Years from now other generations will look and say that's the generation that legalized pot. How good is that?"

Currently on tour, Black offers this pot joke to receptive audiences: "It is a gateway drug. It certainly is. It's a gateway to the kitchen."

Black won the Grammy for Best Comedy Album - The Carnegie Hall Performance - in 2007.
