Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford was busted for weed outside a Plano, Texas club at 12:36 on June 4. He posted bail.

UPDATE: On June 11, the DA charged Crawford with possessing less than two ounces of marijuana, a misdemeanor.

"He was here for a drink on the patio. A band was playing," Blair Sachsie, who works at Ringo's Pub at 5865 Kinkaid Rd., told CelebStoner. "He was here with a woman but he was out in the car with a guy."

Cops stationed in the parking lot watched as Crawford rolled a joint in a 2003 Nissan.

While downplaying Crawford's celebrity status ("Nobody knows about him around here - we don't watch The CW"), Sachsie suggested the police may indeed have known Crawford, who is from Plano, was in the area and were tailing him.

On Gossp Girl, Crawford famously portrays playboy Nate Archibald, a low-key stoner who prefers hash.

Also in 2010, Crawford played a drug dealer in Joel Schumacher's Twelve.
