A submarine intended to transport cocaine to the U.S. has been seized in the Ecuadorian jungle. "This is the final frontier for the maritime drug traffickers," stated DEA Andean regional director Jay Bergman. "The DEA is very good, but what are the odds of us detecting the first one ever built before it got under way? I'd say this is the first one we caught."

This isn't the first one busted as it was being built.
I'd say the odds are better, if there are lots of similar jungle sub-yards. There are.
Big busts mean big supplies. So this bust means there are plenty of similar SS "Supply-And-Demand" Cocaine Submarines, one may reasonably imagine... Prohibition hands them big profits to invest in such things.
