There have been more than 40 celebrity drug arrests so far in 2010. Here are 12 of the highest-profile celebs to get nabbed:

11/26 - Willie Nelson: C&W legend arrested with six ounces of marijuana at Texas border checkpoint.

8/27 - Paris Hilton: Socialite harged with cocaine possession in Las Vegas. Pled guilty on 9/20.

11/18 - DMX: Rapper charged with probation violation for using cocaine and unprescribed OxyContin on Phoenix. Sent to jail.

6/4 - Chace Crawford: Gossip Girl star arrested in parking of club in Plano, Texas. Police claim they saw him roll a joint.

9/1 - T.I.: Rapper arrested with wife Tameka Cottle in Los Angeles for possessing Ecstasy. Drug charged dismissed against T.I. on 10/25. Sent back to jail for 11 months on probation violation.

7/4 - George Michael: Pop singer charged with marijuana possession and DUI after car accident. Sent to jail for two months on 9/14.

6/11 - Kid Cudi: Rapper charged with criminal mischief and possession of a controlled substance after domestic incident with girlfriend.

9/19 - Bruno Mars: Pop singer arrested for cocaine possession in Las Vegas.

11/8 - Wiz Khalifa: Rapper and eight other members of his crew charged with marijuana trafficking after tour-bus bust in Greenville, North Carolina.

9/28 - Ralphie May: Comic arrested for marijuana possession in Guam. Piad $100 fine on 10/1.

6/30 - Chris Simms: Former Tennessee Titans QB charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs (marijuana) during traffic stop in New York.

1/10 - Olivia Namath: Daughter of football legend, Joe, arrested for marijuana possesssion and intent to sell in Palm Beach, Florida.

disgusted - the only reason the state does not want pot legalized is fines - the revenue brings in court costs and the cost of representation
