Johnny Jolly mug shotSuspended Green Bay Packer defensive lineman Johnny Jolly was arrested in Houston on Mar. 25 during a traffic stop and charged with possessing more than 600 grams of codeine. Since he violated probation from a previous codeine arrest in 2008, Jolly was jailed until his court appearance on Apr. 20.

Updates: On Apr. 21, Jolly pled guilty to the narcotics charge and received five years' probation and 90 days in drug treatment. However, after being busted a third time for codeine possesion in Oct. 1, Jolly received a six-year sentence on Nov. 17,

The NFL banned Jolly, who was drafted out of Texas A&M in 2006, for the entire 2010 season. He hasn't played in 2011.

Jolly's not the first athlete to get busted for codeine possession. Last year, former 49ers QB JaMarcus Russell and current Knicks forward Shawne Williams were arrested for possessing codeine syrup.
