Carino's - Austin

The Italian food restaurant chain Carino's is catering to the munchies crowd with an ad campaign that calls for the legalization of marinara. "We do Italian food with a unique twist," the company brags on its website. Stony specialties include Sicilian Fire Sticks, and Italian Nachos and Sliders.

This photo was taken in at 290 West near Old Fredricksburg Rd. in Austin, Texas.

Pretty sick billboard! I really don't care what adults do, but if anyone truly knows science, a child's brain isn't developed until they are 21, so smoking marijuana could damage their brains, and yes if you legalize it, it's more apt to get into the hands of youth. On the flip side, we have enough lazy people in this world, so why not legalize it? Then we'll have even more!

"so good it should be outlawed" - too good. Love it!

Ditto what John said. It's required by worker's comp for almost all companies. Fact of life. So the decision is out of their hands. Seems like Carino's is just trying to be funny here (successfully), not trying to make a political statement or endorsement of MJ. Just take it for what it is and don't read more into it.

It's not the employers that require drug testing for an on the job injury, it's worker's compensation that requires it.

Fantastic! Good for them. Now let's find out whether or not they DRUG TEST for marijuana as a means of employment eligibility, on-the-job injuries or promotion w/in the company. If they do, then BOYCOTT them, & tell their management that they will NOT cater to the "munchies crowd."
