Playing a pot-smoking potty mouth comes naturally to the ever likable Cameron Diaz in Bad Teacher. It's a Stonette of the Year worthy performance for Diaz, who tokes throughout the movie and gets to deliver great lines like "weed is awesome."

Diaz is Elizabeth Halsey, an apathetic, self-obsessed middle school teacher who comes to class hung over and shows movies rather than teach. She has complete disdain for everyone at JAMS (John Adams Middle School). Her goal is to find a rich guy, but first she decides she needs a boob job. Elizabeth proves capable of doing just about anything to raise funds, including an '70s-style charity car-wash and a grades contest, which prompts her to bear down in the classroom.

Elizabeth smokes more weed than Spicoli. In the funniest of those scenes, she's caught in her car by a student lighting a glass pipe in her car. "Is that marijuana?" the girl asks. "No, it's medicinal marijuana. I have a prescription, but I'm not gonna tell you why. That's between me and my doctor."

"Let's get baked," Elizabeth says to goody-goody teacher Lynne (Phyllis Smith). When Lynne doth protests, Elizabeth blurts out, "Just fuckin' do it. Weed is awesome."

She also shares a joint with gym teacher Russell (Jason Segal), who pines for her, but she's interested in the super-bland rich newcomer to the staff, Scott (Justin Timberlake), instead. Do sparks fly between former real-live lovers Diaz and Timberlake? You'll see have to see the movie to to find that out.

In another scene, she runs out of pot and tries to inhale heated bongwater (wtf?).

Elizabeth's rivalry with her nemesis, Amy (Lucy Punch), drives the story to a great extent. Can she outpoint Amy? Will she pick Scott or Russell? Is there any good in this bad teacher?

Diaz carries the movie like the Hollywood pro she is. She gets more than a passing grade in director Jake Kasdan's transformative stoner comedy.
