UNLV Suspends Cager Over Pot DUI PDF Print E-mail

Busted in Las Vegas for driving stoned, UNLV shoopster Chace Stanback has been suspended by Coach Dave Rice for the team's opener vs. Grand Canyon on Nov. 11. He'll be eligible to return for the next game on Nov. 14.

Chace StanbackAfter a traffic stop for speeding near the team's athletic facility, the Thomas & Mack Center, on May 13, marijuana was found in Stanback's blood-alcohol test. On Sept. 22, the 6-8 third-team All-Mountain West Conference senior forward pled guilty to the DUI in exchange for a 30-day suspended sentence, $585 fine and 40 hours of community service.

Last season, Stanback averaged 13 points and six rebounds per game

another plea bargain... too bad you didn't argue the fact that THC stays in the bloodstream longer than alcohol or prescription drugs or cocaine, LSD, peyote and opiates... the real benefit to THC is that it keeps on working... good eh?
