Jeremy Mayfield Busted for Meth

NASCAR suspended Jeremy Mayfield in 2009 for failing a drug test. On Tuesday, the race car driver was arrested at his home in Catawba, North Carolina and charged with possessing 1.5 grams of methamphetamine.

Police were looking for stolen goods when they found the meth and a large cache of guns. Mayfield was charged with drug possession, jailed and then released on $3,000 bond.

Mayfield, who is still suspended, tested positive for meth in 2009. He claimed it was a false positive due to his use of Claritin and Adderall.
