Stoners love Cameron Diaz on general principles, but this year she stepped up and provided some juicy details about her high-school marijuana use and character in Bad Teacher, making her our Top CelebStoner of the Year.

Diaz began the year in January by telling George Lopez on the since-canceled Lopez Tonight, "I'm pretty sure I bought weed" from Snoop Dogg, who she went to Long Beach Polytechnic High School with in the '80s. "I had to have."

After co-starring with Seth Rogen in The Green Hornet, Diaz's next role as potty-mouth pothead Elizabeth Halsey in Bad Teacher cemented her stony reputation. In one scene, she tells a student who catches her puffing on a pipe in her car that "it's medicinal marijuana - I have a prescription." In another, she encourages a stuffy colleague to "get baked," adding with gusto: "Weed is awesome!"

While promoting Jake Kasdan's stoner comedy, Diaz reminded Late Night host Jimmy Fallon, "Weed is awesome. That's what I say in the film."

In 2007, Diaz and fellow Top CelebStoner Drew Barrymore were photographed smoking and passing a joint on a beach in Hawaii.

Diaz succeeds 2010 Top CelebStoner Zach Galifianakis.

2011 Top CelebStoner runner-up: Seth Rogen, who played weed enthusiasts in 50/50 and Paul, as well as the title character in The Green Hornet.
