Add Robin Thicke to the 50,000 people arrested for marijuana possession in New York each year. On Friday, NYPD caught the R&B singer smoking a joint in a parked Escalade.

“He wasn’t driving,” a police source tells the Daily News. “He was sitting in the car. He was arrested and a small amount of marijuana was recovered on him.”

The Escalade was parked on 21 St. and 3rd Ave near Gramercy Park. Thicke received a desk appearance ticket and was released.

Thicke's latest album Love After War was released in December. He's the son of Canadian-born TV actor Alan.
