Sinclair poster Thirty-seven years ago this month John Sinclair was released from a Michigan jail where he was serving a 10-year sentence for selling two joints to a narc. It took a special concert - featuring John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Stevie Wonder. Phil Ochs and many more - to spring Sinclair. Just three days after the John Sinclair Freedom Rally, he was released.
