Legendary Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia would have turned 65 on August 1. As a tribute to Jerry, we've named him the second CelebStoner Legend, joining Bob Marley.

Bob Marley would've been 62 years old on Feb. 6. Though he died 25 years ago, Marley lives more than ever in the minds and hearts of reggae fans and ganja lovers everywhere. He's officially named CelebStoner's first CelebStoner Legend.

Reggae great Peter Tosh would have turned 63 today. Unfortunately, the former Wailer and solo star best known for "Legalize It" - the greatest marijuana song of all time - was gunned down in Jamaica in 1987.

One of America's great and most enduring performers, veteran standup comic George Carlin passed away on June 22, 2008 from a heart attack. He recently appeared in his 14th HBO special. Like Richard Pryor and Lenny Bruce, Carlin was known for riffing on drugs, as he did in his classic 1973 bit, "Grass Swept the Neighborhood."
