Banned: Steve Berke's 'Grease' Parody - 'You're the Law That I Want'

Miami comedian and former mayoral candidate Steve Berke is at it again. Known for his parody song videos, like Weird Al Yankovic, Berke's latest is a remake of the Grease hit, "You're the One That I Want," in support of Florida's medical marijuana initiative.

"You're the law that I want," Berke and Briley Hale sing. "Yes on 2. The one I need. Oh yes it's weed."

After going viral, the video was removed by YouTube due to a complaint from Warner/Chappell Music, the original song's publisher. “It’s completely ridiculous,” Berke says. “Parodies are ‘fair use’ and a protected form of free speech. If they weren’t, there wouldn’t be thousands of them on YouTube, and Weird Al Yankovic wouldn’t have a career.”

However, the video has been reposted at Vimeo (watch above).
