Starting in January 2007,
CelebStoner began chronicling what would become Barack Obama's historic
Presidential run. We endorsed Obama as the stoner's candidate in
February 2008, encouraging pot
smokers to support the first major candidate since Jimmy Carter to
favor marijuana decriminalization. We offered STONERS for OBAMA
stickers to readers with the hope that they would spread the good word
about the liberal Senator from Illinois. It all worked, as Obama
overwhelmed John McCain with 365 electoral college votes - a virtual landslide.
