First Legal Recreational Marijuana Sales in Colorado

New Year's Day ushered in a new era in Denver and other Colorado cities where legal sales of recreational marijuana commenced Wednesday morning at 37 stores around the state. "No more sneaking around," said bud buyer Chrissy Robinson.

Eighteen of the fully-licensed stores are in Denver. Another 19 are in cities from Alma to Telluride. Below are photos taken at Evergreen Apothecary at 1568 South Broadway and 3-D Denver at 4385 Brighton Blvd.
