ISIS Burns Down Pot Farm in Syria

ISIS and the Farouq Brigade, part of the Free Syria Army, torched a large marijuana field in Northern Syria. The radical Islamists prohibit the use of cannabis, tobacco and alcohol.

The local pot farmer reportedly fled from Akhtarin to the Turkish border before the town was captured by militants. Marijuana plants, when harvested, are usually converted to hash in the Mideast.
