CNN Announces 'High Profits' Pot-Reality Series

Reality TV likes marijuana. So far we've seen Weed Wars, Weed Country and The Blue Grass Boys. The next series to zero in on the pot.com boom will be High Profits, about two Breckenridge, Colorado ganjapreneurs.

Brian Rogers wants to be Colorado’s biggest weed supplier.

According to CNN, Brian Rogers and Caitlin McGuire are "business-minded, dream-seeking, relentless visionaries with a plan unlike any other - to franchise marijuana." Currently, they run the Breckenridge Cannabis Club, which "has grown from a $515,000 per year medical marijuana dispensary with four employees to a $5 million per year business of 30 employees."

Early next year, CNN will broadcast eight hour-long episodes focusing on "Employee issues and customers’ demands. Product growth and testing. Newfound wealth and serious safety concerns. Complicated taxes and unfriendly banks. Political games and legal hurdles. High Profits will diary America’s first ever moguls of marijuana who have to rise above all of this and more."

In the trailer above, Rogers predicts: "We will become the largest weed supplier Colorado has ever seen."

High Profits is a CNN Originals Series produced by Bat Bridge Entertainment of Austin, Texas.
