Texans' Jameel Cook popped for pot |

When Houston-area police pulled over Texan starting fullback Jameel Cook's
Mercedes for a missing front plate and registration sticker on August 20, it
turned out his license was expired and he didn't have proof of
insurance too. On top of all that, a search found two grams of pot in a
Baggie. Cook was charged with misdemeamor marijuana possession and
released on $500 bond.
Cook has a Super Bowl ring he won with Tampa Bay in 2003. He was drafted out of Illinois in 2001 and signed with Houston in 2006. A career blocker, Cook has just three touchdowns in his seven-seaon career.
On Aug. 25 - just five days after the arrest - the Texans cut Cook.
On Sept. 30, Cook - after passing drug and polygraph tests - was cleared of the pot charge.
