Two years ago Marshawn Lynch was in the doghouse. Traded to Seattle from Buffalo in October, the running back capped Seattle's upset playoff victory over New Orleans with an electrifying 67-yard TD run. In 2009, Lynch was arrested on gun charges and suspended by the NFL.

Tampa police arrested Mike Williams on Nov. 19. Stopped for speeding, Williams passed a breath test, but was still charged with drunk driving. The rookie receiver is having a standout season with 50 catches for 760 yards and seven TDs.

In an overtime thriller, the Jets beat the Browns on a 37-yard touchdown catch and run by Santonio Holmes with just 16 seconds left. The former Pittsburgh Steeler and Super Bowl XLIII MVP was arrested for marijuana possession in 2008.

Reigning National League Cy Young Award winner Tim Lincecum, who was arrested for marijuana possession last year, pitched the Giants to a 4-3 victory in the opening game of the NLCS against the Phillies. Lincecum lost to Roy Halladay in Game 5. The Giants won Game 6 to advance to the World Series.
