In August, a cannabis controversy erupted over Roger Stone's planned speech at the CWCBExpo scheduled for Sept. 13-15 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. On Sept. 6, the event announced that Stone had been removed from the speaker's lineup.
During my 20-year stint with High Times, I coordinated more than three-dozen photo shoots with celebrities, mostly musicians, including Snoop Dogg, Willie Nelson, Ozzy Osbourne, Cypress Hill, Method Man, Redman and Milla Jovovich. Many are featured in the 500th issue of High Times.
I'm deeply saddened by the deaths of Gregg Allman and Butch Trucks this year. Forty-six years ago I attended what has been described as the greatest Allman Brothers show ever, what Trucks called "the night we played until after the sun came up."

Many of you out there know that I worked for High Times for nearly 20 years, from 1988 to 2007. Towards the end of my run with Trans High Corp. (the parent company), I hatched the idea for CelebStoner.com. That was in 2006.
