Colorado's 'Drive High, Get a DUI' Campaign

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has released three 30-second spots they think will discourage people from driving stoned.

In this spot, a bearded guy hangs a flat-screen on the walll, slaps high five with his wife or girlfriend, then the TV falls off the wall and crashes on the floor. Tagline: "Installing your TV while your high is now legal. Driving to get a new one isn't."

In this spot, a wooly-haired dude can't get the BBQ started as people await their charbroiled steaks. Tagline: "Grilling high is now legal. Driving to get the propane you forget isn't."

In this spot, a basketball player would rather dribble than take a free throw. Tagline: "Playing ball high is now legal. Going to see the pros afterward isn't."
