Todd Snider, Dave Schools (Widspread Panic), Neal Casal (the Chris Robinson Brotherhood), Chad Staehly (Great American Taxi) and Duane Trucks (brother of Derek) joined together to form the super group, Hard Working Americans. In the video for "Blackland Farmer" from their self-titled album, a struggling farmer switches to marijuana. The song has a swampy blues feel, with Snider's gruff vocals paying homage to Dr. John.
