An American flag made of hemp was hoisted above the U.S. Capitol to celebrate the 4th of July. Colorado Rep. Jared Polis urged Congress to allow the Independence Day display.
The flag was made from scratch by Hemp HoodLamb, a clothing company with stores in Denver and Amsterdam. "It came out interesting," says Adam Dunn. "It's slightly washed-out-looking so it has an antique vibe."
