'Breaking Bad' Takes Emmy for Best TV Drama

Top CelebStoners Bill Maher, Amy Poehler and Anthony Bourdain were among the many television stars nominated for this this year's Emmy Awards. They lost, but Breaking Bad won.

The Emmys were given out last night in Los Angeles.

Maher's HBO talk show Real Time was up for Best Variety Series. Poehler, who plays Councilwoman Leslie Knope on NBC's Park and Recreation, competed for Best Actress in a Comedy Series. Bourdain, who has his own show on CNN, Parts Unknown, also hosts ABC's The Taste, which he was nominated for.

Of its eight noms, AMC's Breaking Bad collected Emmys for Best Drama Series and Best Supporting Actress (Anna Gunn, who plays Skyler). AMC's other hot show Mad Men was also nominated in the Best Drama category.
