The Week in CelebStoner News - Sept. 9-22

• The Boston Freedom Rally got the run-around from the city, but ultimately was able to expand to two days (we heard the 4:20 on Sunday was quite the "Smoke Down").

Bill de Blasio won the Democratic primary, becoming the likely next mayor of New York. Potheads and minorities of all colors cheered!

• In New Jersey, Gov. Christie signed into law a bill that increases the number of marijuana strains that are allowed to be grown and sold to patients, and also allows the sale of edible products to children (but not adults).

Marijuana arrests continued to decline nationally, down 1% from 2011. There were 749,825 arrests for marijuana possession, sales and growing in 2012.

• With only two episodes left, Breaking Bad has viewers on the edges of their seats, reaching for the meth pipe. Hank's dead, Jesse's being tortured and now it's Skylar and Marie vs. Walt. Fasten your seat-belts…
