Six 'Stoner Babes' Left Off Elle's List

Leigh Taylor-Young in I Love You, Alice B. Toklas

The first female stoner on screen? Young plays hippie chick Nancy in Hy Averback's I Love You, Alice B. Toklas (1968), who doses Harold (Peter Sellers) and his wife and friends on pot brownies. Harold has a transformation, falling hard for Nancy and allowing her friends to turn his apartment into a crash pad. But when she calls him "unhip," which he is," Harold has a fit. "I've got pot. I've got acid. I've got LSD cubes," he replies. "I'm so hip it hurt."
