Amy Smart in Outside Providence and Road Trip
Known for her TV roles on Shameless and Justified, Smart cut her teeth in back-to-back stoner films, the Farelly Brothers' Outside Providence (1999) and Todd Phillips' Road Trip (2000). In the former, she plays Jane who meets bad-boy Tim (Shawn Hatosy) at a prep school. They bond over pot and he gives her dental roach clips for her birthday. In the latter, set in college, her Beth gets high and goes to bed with Josh (Beckin Meyer) before he attempts to get back with his previous girlfriend.
