Actress/comedian Lily Tomlin holds a bong in this photo from the set of her Netflix series, Grace and Frankie, with Jane Fonda looking on. "I feel bad, but I don't really have the heart to tell Frankie her new vase is ugly," Fonda quips.
On the show, which recently wrapped shooting of Season 2, Frankie (Tomlin) and Grace (Fonda) play wives of husbands have fallen in love and decide to marry. The women, who move in together, are a regular odd couple. Frankie's a "hippie art teacher" and Grace is a retired veteran of the cosmetics industry. Tomlin was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Grace and Frankie.
The Tokin Woman blog reports that Frankie trips on peyote in Episode 1 of Season 1 and in later episodes regularly smokes pot.
Tomlin recently appeared as a budtender at a marijuana dispensary on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Along with Fonda and Dolly Parton, she famously stoned a joint in 9 to 5. She got her start on Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In and is still best know for her nasal telephone operator character, Ernestine ("two ringy dingys...")
Tomlin's won seven Emmys, two Tonys and one Grammy Award.
