Woody Harrelson works so much he's due to receive an Oscar nomination every so often. Perhaps the third time will be the charm for the popular actor.
Harrelson has been nominated for his supporting role as Police Chief Willoughby in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, which received seven total nominations, including for Best Picture and Best Lead Actress (Frances McDormand). The film's about a mother whose daughter was raped and killed, yet no one has been charged for the awful crime, and leads Mildred to take matters in her own hands.
McDormand won th Best Actress Oscar for Fargo in 1997.

Harrelson has won just one major award - an Emmy for his supporting role in Cheers in 1982. He was nominated for Best Actor for his portayal of Larry Flynt in The People vs. Larry Flynt in 1996 and for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Messenger in 2009. He's also received four Golden Globe nominations.
It was a busy year for the Harrelson in 2017; he appeared in Three Billboards, LBJ, War for the Planet of the Apes, Wilson, Lost in London, The Glass Castle and Shock and Awe.
