Martha Stewart on CBD: 'It's a Natural Way to Manage Life's Difficulties'

Martha Stewart is among the many celebrities who've dived into the CBD market. Not a consumer of smokeable cannabis, Stewart prefers gummies, flavored oil drops and softgels. And now she's offering CBD products for pets.

"CBD is a natural way to manage life's difficulties," Stewart states in a video posted at Canopy Growth, her Canada-based business partner. "CBD wellness has never been this inviting and has certainly never tasted this great."

In an interview with CNBC, she notes:

"I’m an insomniac and the Martha Stewart CBD oil drops are so helpful. A dropper full of the orange or a dropper full of the lemon. I also love my CBD gummies.

"My curiosity was initially kindled by Snoop Dogg. I did three seasons of our show, 'Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party,' learning a lot about cannabis. I’m not a user of cannabis but then I got very interested in not only cannabis but also in hemp and the derivatives.... I'll leave the THC offerings to Snoop.

"I’m very interested in supplements... in what will make you live longer, what will make your brain stay clear and what will make you continue to be active. Those are the kinds of things that I’m looking for, not the secret to eternal youth. I’m not taking injections. But I am trying very hard to keep myself in as good shape as possible for a long as possible."

Stewart is 79.

Martha Stewart CBD gummies come in fun flavors like blood orange, Meyer lemon and huckleberry.
