The man formerly known as Ricky Williams - he now goes by the name Errick Miron (it's his wife Linnea's last name) - is making moves in Massachusetts with his Highsman brand. The former NFL star has teamed up with TILT Holdings for the launch at their Commonwealth Alternative Care store in Cambridge (1385 Cambridge St.) on September 16 from 9-10:30 am. Miron and TILT CEO Gary Santo will be there.

The Highsman flower line so far has eight strains in the following categories: Pregame (sativa), Halftime (hybrid) and Postgame (indica).

In a press release, Miron states: “I wanted to address two things when I launched Highsman: break down the cannabis stigma and improve access for those who benefit from its use. Launching with TILT, I could keep focused on my mission while also creating strains unseen in the market. I couldn’t have done this without TILT and the cultivation team, who share our passion for the cannabis industry.”

Santo adds: "Highsman, just like sports, is a unifier that brings people together. This cooperative spirit was evident as the teams worked through the strain selection process and throughout the product development lifecycle leading up to kick-off. I’m pleased to bring to my home state a product that can reach athletes and enthusiasts of all kinds, not to mention the industry-at-large."

Ricky Wiliams (nee Errick Miron): "I couldn’t have done this without TILT and the cultivation team, who share our passion for the cannabis industry."

In July, TILT broke ground on the "historiec, tribally-owned cannabis enterprise, Little Beach Harvest," in partnership with the Shinnecock Nation in Southhampton, NY. "The 5,000 square-foot dispensary, located on Shinnecock Tribal Territory (at 55 Montauk Highway), is on track to open in early 2023," TILT reported in a press release.

“I'm thrilled to start construction on such an important project for the Shinnecock Nation,” chairman Bryan Polite commented. “Little Beach Harvest has been working hard with our partner, TILT Holdings, to ensure a first-class dispensary for the New York market. This construction kick-off is a step forward for the Shinnecock Nation and I am excited to be a part of such an amazing journey.”

TILT COO Dana Arvidson called the ground-breaking a "substantial milestone in our journey to create social equity for the Shinnecock Nation. Now, we move forward together in building out not only the physical structure of Little Beach Harvest, but our plan in bringing forward plant medicine as an economic engine for the Shinnecock.”

Based in Phoenix, TILT (currently selling at $.13 on the OTC), has operations in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Ohio and New York and "services brands and cannabis retailers across 37 states in the U.S., as well as Canada, Israel, South America and the European Union."
