Peter Clark last smoked cannabis or hash in Las Vegas before he flew to Dubai on February 24. However, a medical emergency required him to be hospitalized, where he was drug tested. The test detected hash and Clark has since been detained by UAE authorities.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer commuted Michael Thompson's sentence on December 22. He spent 23 years in jail for selling three pounds of marijuana to an informant. Thompson was released on January 28.
Marijuana grower Andrew Cox has been released from jail after serving 13 years, thanks to Last Prisoner Project. He received a life sentence in 2009.
