2018 Celebrity Drug Busts from A-Z

Action Bronson (Ariyan Arslani) - Aug. 11; New York-born rapper arrested after smoking a joint on stage at the Sunny Hill Festival in Prishtina, Kosovo.

J.J. Caldwell and Jay Chandler - Feb. 11; two Texas A&M basketball players were arrested on the College Station campus for marijuana possession (they were caught smoking in a car). Following the arrests, Caldwell was cut from the team and Chandler was suspended. 

Antonio Callaway - Aug. 4; Cleveland Browns rookie wide receiver was arrested for marijuana possession after a traffic stop in Strongsville, OH. He was previously arrested for marijuana possession in 2017. Callaway was the Browns' fourth pick in the 2018 draft out of the University of Florida.

Barry Cofield

Barry Cofield - July 3; former NFL player arrested for possession of heroin, DUI, aggravated assault and other charges in Lake Mary, NJ. The defensive tackle played for the Giants and Redskins in his 10-year NFL career.

Glen "Big Baby" Davis

Glen "Big Baby" Davis- Feb. 7; former NBA player arrested and charged with possession of 126 grams (4.5 ounces) of marijuana in Aberdeen Hampton Inn in Aberdeen, MD. He also had $92,000. The confiscated weed came from Los Angeles. The 6-9 forward averaged 8 points a game during his eight-year NBA career.

Dazz Dillinger (Delmar Arnaud) - Sept. 25; member of Snoop Dogg's arrested for marijuana possession in his Powder Springs, GA home outside of Atlanta; charged with two felonies for possessing a quarter-pound of pot, plus 10 cannabis oil cartridges.

Lenny Dykstra

Lenny Dyskstra - May 23; former MLB player was charged with possession of marijuana, cocaine and Ecstasy after a confrontation with an Uber driver in Linden, NJ. He batted .285 during his 13-year career as an outfielder for the Mets and Phillies.

Reuben Foster

Reuben Foster - Jan. 12; San Francisco 49ers linebacker arrested in Tuscaloosa, AL after a traffic stop and charged with second-degree possession of marijuana. In order to have the charge dismissed, Foster was required to enter a diversion program. The NFL suspended him for the first two games of the 2018 season. Foster played college ball at the University of Alabama. 

Brian France

Brian France - Aug. 4; NASCAR CEO and chairman arrested for DWI and possession of a controlled substance (oxycodone) in Sag Harbor Village, NY. Following ths arrest, NASCAR placed him on leave of absence.

Rico Gathers

Rico Gathers - Aug. 31; Dallas Cowboys tight end was arrested for marijuana possession in Frisco, TX after police smelled pot coming from a parked car he was in. Gathers was the Cowboys' sixth-round pick in the 2016 draft.

Duron Harmon - Mar. 23; New England Patriots safety was not alllowed into Costa Rica after authorities found two ounces of marijuana and paraphernalia in his luggage at Juan Santamaria International Airport near San Jose. He was not arrested. Harmon was selected in the third round of the 2013 draft.

Carlos Henderson

Carlos Henderson - Jan. 15; Denver Broncos wide receiver arrested in West Monroe, LA after a traffic stop for speeding and charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana). Henderson played college ball at Louisiana Tech.

Billy Kenny - Apr. 2; British DJ was stopped by TSA at LAX when they found a vape pen in his bag. He was stripped of his visa and sent back to England.

Artie Lange - Dec. 14; former Howard Stern Show sidekick violated parole of his 2017 heroin possession conviction when he tested positive for cocaine and other drugs in Newark, NJ; rather than be re-arrested, his case was sent to drug court.

Kevin Pierre-Louis

Kevin Pierre-Louis - Jan. 25; New York Jets (and former Kansas City Chiefs) linebacker arrested for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after a traffic stop in Johnson County, KS. On Aug. 11, the NFL suspended him for one game.

Esteban Loaiza - Feb. 9; Mexican-born former MLB pitcher arrested and charged with possessing 44 pounds of cocaine in San Diego. He pleaded not guilty. Loaiza won 126 games during his 14-year major league career. 

Hopper Penn

Hopper Penn and Uma Von Wittkamp - Apr. 4; 24-year-old son of Sean Penn and Robin Wright and his girlfriend were arrested for drug possession after a traffic stop in Aurora, NE. Penn was charged with marijuana possession (half ounce) and Wittkamp was charged with possession of magic mushrooms and amphetamine.

Nathaniel Prescott

Nathaniel Prescott - Aug. 11 - Father of Cowboys quarterback Dak arrested for marijuana possession after a traffic stop in Orange, TX.
