K-9s Can't Smell Weed Anymore

Yorkie
Dogs in Washington State are now being trained to not detect marijiuana. Meanwhile, this Yorkie ran off wih the bag.

In Washington State, it's no longer cool for drug-sniffing dogs to detect marijuana during a search. Police departments and State Patrol are busily retraining K-9s and training new ones.

This is a result of the passage of I-502 last November, which legalized the possession of up to one ounce of pot and directed the state to create a regulated marijuana industry.

Dogs now must use their considerable olfactory powers strictly to sniff out coke, heroin and meth, and not weed.
