7. Majority of Americans Want to Legalize It
In October, Gallup announced the results of its latest marijuana legalization poll. Starting in 1969, only 12% of Americans favored marijuana legalization. Forty-four years later, that figure swelled to 58%, the highest number ever. Every age group except for seniors support revamping the nation's pot laws.
