In advance of his CNN documentary Weed, Dr. Sanjay Gupta made a stunning reversal on marijuana, apologizing that he "didn't look hard enough… I was too dismissive of the loud chorus of legitimate patients whose symptoms improved on cannabis… It's doesn't have a high potential for abuse, and there are very legitimate medical applications." Gupta also called for the DEA to reschedule marijuana.
